Our Founding Story
Greenometer was born from a simple belief: companies should not be afraid of regulation — they should be able to use it as a compass.
Its founders, Karel and Jan, both from a small town in Czechia, saw during COVID how quickly the world was changing. A local power plant struggled to secure bank financing, while companies everywhere were facing growing pressure from climate risk, ESG rules and complex regulation. At the same time, the usual sustainability messaging — images of dying polar bears and abstract warnings — was not helping business leaders make better decisions.
Companies did not need fear. They needed clarity.
That is why Greenometer was founded: to turn regulatory complexity into data, structure and action. To help companies automate compliance, understand their risks and steer their business in the right direction.
